Mint Tea Honey Lemon (Printable version)

A refreshing blend of fresh mint, honey, and lemon for a soothing, aromatic beverage.

# What You'll Need:

→ Herbal Base

01 - 2 cups water
02 - 1 large handful fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish

→ Sweetener & Flavor

03 - 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
04 - 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)

→ Optional Garnish

05 - 2 lemon slices, for garnish

# How to Prepare:

01 - Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan or kettle.
02 - Rinse the mint leaves and gently bruise them to release their aromatic oils.
03 - Place the bruised mint leaves in a teapot or heatproof jug. Pour the boiling water over the mint leaves.
04 - Cover and let steep for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on desired strength.
05 - Strain the tea into cups, discarding the used mint leaves. Stir in the honey and lemon juice until fully dissolved.
06 - Garnish each cup with a lemon slice and extra fresh mint leaves, if desired. Serve hot.
