01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine cashews, pecan halves, almonds, and peanuts.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, kosher salt, and black pepper. Add maple syrup or honey if using.
04 - Pour the spice mixture over the nuts and toss thoroughly until evenly coated.
05 - Spread the seasoned nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Bake for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and fragrant.
07 - Remove from oven and let cool completely on the tray. Nuts will crisp as they cool.
