01 - Place bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat. Cook for 6-8 minutes until crispy and browned. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease.
02 - Butter one side of each bread slice if desired. Place buttered side down in skillet and toast for 2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
03 - Lay out toasted bread slices on a clean surface. Spread 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing evenly on each slice.
04 - On bottom slices, layer in order: romaine lettuce, deli turkey, roast beef, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, tomato slices, red onion slices, and crispy bacon.
05 - Place remaining bread slices on top, ranch side down. Press down gently to compact layers. Cut each sandwich diagonally in half. Serve immediately with pickles on the side if desired.
