01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
02 - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped chocolate and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Alternatively, melt the chocolate using a double boiler setup on the stovetop.
03 - Carefully dip each pretzel halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl before placing it on the prepared baking sheet.
04 - While the chocolate coating is still wet, generously sprinkle your chosen toppings over the pretzels. This allows the toppings to adhere properly.
05 - Allow the coated pretzels to sit at room temperature, or refrigerate them, for approximately 20 minutes until the chocolate is completely set and firm to the touch.
06 - Once fully set, transfer the chocolate-covered pretzels to an airtight container and store them at room temperature for up to one week to maintain freshness.
